About the Author
Raised in a small town in western New York, Wendy Barron later moved cross-country to attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock. A bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations put her on a creative path in copywriting and campaign conception. Her intrigue with wordplay and firsthand experience reading to her boys led to the writing of Prickles and Prides. This inaugural children’s picture book playfully introduces the names of animal collectives. It is the first in the series Tales of Fins, Wings, and Tails, which whimsically explores the sounds, movements, homes, and groups of various animals. Wendy currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband.
